1. Property Verification

Every hotel listed on UNO undergoes a multi-step verification process before going live — including document authentication, physical or virtual property inspection, staff background checks (for partner properties), and ongoing review monitoring. Properties that fall below our standards are suspended.

2. Safe Payments

All transactions on UNO are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption and processed through Razorpay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We never store your card details on our servers. Additional 3D Secure authentication is required for all card payments.

3. Data Security

Your personal and payment data is stored on ISO 27001 certified infrastructure with role-based access controls, regular security audits, and intrusion detection systems. We conduct annual penetration tests and promptly address any vulnerabilities discovered.

4. Health & Hygiene

Partner hotels are encouraged to maintain and display their cleanliness certifications. Guests can report hygiene concerns through the UNO app or support team. Verified complaints result in immediate review and potential suspension of the property.

5. Guest Reviews

UNO reviews are verified — only guests with a confirmed and completed booking can leave a review. We do not allow hotels to remove reviews. All reviews are screened for authenticity before publication. Suspicious review patterns trigger an immediate audit.

6. Reporting a Concern

If you experience a safety issue during your stay, contact our 24/7 support team immediately. For emergencies, always contact local emergency services first. UNO's safety team follows up on all reported incidents within 24 hours and coordinates with the hotel management.

7. Responsible Travel

UNO is committed to sustainable and responsible tourism. We partner with eco-certified properties, promote local experiences, and are working toward carbon-neutral operations by 2027. Guests can filter for eco-friendly properties in the search results.
